ASdeporte and ROOK Announce Partnership for Sporting Events in Mexico
ASdeporte and ROOK partner to integrate wearable data into sporting events in Mexico, with recommendations for athletes and community gamification.
On July 29, 2024, ASdeporte and ROOK announced a strategic partnership: ASdeporte, an organizer of races, triathlons, and cycling routes in Mexico, will integrate health data from wearable devices through the ROOK API. The goal is to offer athletes recommendations for their preparation and to enrich the community experience with gamification.
Miami/Mexico City, July 29, 2024 - ASdeporte, a sporting event organization company in Mexico, and ROOK, the health data platform, announce their strategic partnership to offer more personalized sports experiences to athletes and sports fans in Mexico.
Why ASdeporte is partnering with ROOK
ASdeporte is partnering with ROOK to integrate health data into its events and offer recommendations for athlete performance and well-being. ASdeporte organizes competitions throughout Mexico, from races and triathlons to cycling routes.
What data ROOK brings to ASdeporte events
ROOK brings wearable data: its API lets apps and software access and process data from hundreds of wearable devices, such as smartwatches, smart scales, and glucose monitors. With this partnership, ASdeporte will use that data in athlete preparation and in gamifying the community experience.

When the partnership takes effect
The partnership between ASdeporte and ROOK takes effect on April 15, 2024, coinciding with the start of ASdeporte's sporting events season.
